Generación STEM Mission

By September 2026, project evaluation will assess the achievement of the following Generación STEM goals:

  • Percentage of STEM students in good academic standing at the end of their first semester
  • Percentage of STEM students persisting to degree completion and graduating
  • Matriculation rates for new STEM transfer students
  • Percentage of transfer STEM students persisting to degree completion and graduating
  • Number of STEM students participating in work-based learning experiences
  • Number of STEM students participating in work-based experience preparation professional development
  • Skills development of STEM faculty participating in culturally responsive professional development programming

Annual increases in outcomes are identified and results will be evaluated within the framework of a quasi-experimental design with impartial measurements of quantitative and qualitative data.
