Welcome to the College of Science and Engineering Experiential Education Certificate Program!

We appreciate your interest in expanding your university experience. This program is designed for undergraduate students enrolled in the College of Science and Engineering (CoSE). Our certificate program is to help you develop professional skills and explore career options. If you are ready to expand your professional growth needs and find out what your interests are this the program for you!

Participating in the EEC program you will complete 4 milestones. All of which you can mix and match with cross-campus workshops, online modules, or attend in-person sessions.  

You will have the flexibility to work at your own pace and chose how you would like to complete the certificate program.

As you work through this program our milestones will cover the following:

Milestone 1: Skills Articulation and Identification
-    You will recognize your skills and express them to future employers.  
Milestone 2: Career Development
-    You will learn about job-seeking skills and explore your work values and interests.  
Milestone 3: Three (36-hour) Work-based Experiences 
-    You will explore different learning opportunities in and out of the classroom. Focusing on STEM professional development and marketable skills. 
Milestone 4: Capstone Workshop 
-    After completing milestones 1-3, you will develop a post-graduation action plan combining all you’ve learned/gained from your professional development sessions and or experiences.
